Saturday's Gasparilla invasion left a lot of leftover trash. The Florida Aquarium, the MacDonald Training Center and Krispy Kreme are all offering incentives to recycle those beads so they don't wind up in the Bay and endanger sea life Those beads are also being recycled. Here's where to drop them off and how you'll be thanked.

The Sebring SunTrust Bank where five women died last week will not reopen. The bank issued a statement saying they are still working on plans on what to do with the land.  All but one of those women were employees of SunTrust. Only one woman who was in the break room at the time escaped.

Forever stamp prices rose ten per cent over the weekend, rising from fifty cents to fifty five cents. If you have older Forever stamps those are still good for first class postage.

Some passengers were left stranded on Caladesi Island Saturdaywhen the ferry never returned to pick them up.  They said they were told to be at the dock for a 5:15 pm pick up time and when no one showed up after 45 minutes it was Dunedin Fire Rescue to the scene. That ferry leaves from Honeymoon Island, a Florida State Park.

Gas prices have slowed their climb in the Bay area. The average price per gallon is $8 but will most likely go up again before Memorial Day.Check the average gas prices with AAA here.
