Yesterday's severe weather triggered straight-line winds causing plenty of damage in Hernando and Citrus counties. Some of those winds were clocked at 70 mph. This weekend's weather turns cooler with a slight chance of rain and chilly overnight temperatures.
Friends and family of the five women who died in the SunTrust Bank shootings in Sebring are being remembered with memorials and more today. All but one of those women were employees of SunTrust. Only one woman who was in the break room at the time escaped.

Services like free hair cuts, food for pets, entertainment options and food pantry's have been set up. There's even help from utility companies. The Coast Guard's Sun Coast Chief Petty Officer's Association is also still offering help to the over 1,500 Guard members in the area.
