The Florida Strawberry Festival has lost one of their headliners. Stephen Tyler and his other  band - The Loving Mary Project - canceled last week. They were scheduled to appear March 3rd and cited "unforseen circumstances" as the reason. If you bought tickets from the festival you can call the Festival box office at 813-754-1996 for return information, and if you bought them elsewhere return them for a refund.

Volunteers with Green Gasparilla were in the water over the weekend trying clear more beads out of Seddon Channel to be recycled. Those are bad for the environment and many are too damaged to be reused. Those will be disposed of. Green Gasparilla was created by two brothers who live on Harbor Island, Demetri and Ethan Sedita. This was the second year for their cleanup.

Payless ShoeSource will close all 2,100 locations. Liquidation sales started over the weekend in the US and Puerto Rico. They expect the stores to stay open until May.

A new survey from WalletHub show Tampa as one of the most pet-friendly cities in the nation. They took the #6 and surprisingly St Petersburg was ranked much lower at #41. The survey looked at criteria that included pet health and wellness, pet budget and outdoor pet friendliness. Scottsdale, AZ took the top spot and Orlando came in at #2.
